Meadows by the Lake
Drop by Meadows by the Lake or "Club Med" as some of us call it. The Meadows, has been a local landmark for about 80 years. New wife and husband owners Neda Thomas-Jahn and Wayne Jahn have cleaned, polished and remodeled but mostly nurtured the old place, as well as paved the parking lot. The roadhouse boasts home-style food offers little pretense, hearty flavours and wide selection, from perch to broasted chicken to pizza. Several cold draft beers on tap. Licensed by the LCBO. Prices offer value, portions are ample, with most entree items under $12.Look for daily specials live entertainment most Friday and Saturday nights. Seating capacity of 180 will increase with an outside patio for the warm weather. Plenty of parking.
